Allison Hu

Hi my name is Allison. I have been involved in community work for about eight years. My passion began while working with children aged 5–15 through several non-profit organizations, where I helped identify barriers and build stronger communities by developing recreation and art-based programming. As I’ve grown in my work, I’ve also recognized the barriers that many young adults face, I am now passionate about creating more accessible and affordable programming to support this age group as well.

Who Created

Who created was designed in response to the lack of creative programming available for young adults aged 16–30. This age group is often overlooked due to the high expectations placed on them in academics and employment. Our goal is to provide accessible opportunities for creativity and connection by offering three polymer clay workshops, one ceramics workshop, and a social café. These programs aim to create a safe and welcoming space where participants can learn new skills and build community.
