Khushi Shah
I am a dedicated youth leader and environmental advocate passionate about protecting our important green spaces and inspiring community action. Known for being adaptable and hardworking, I have contributed over 300 volunteer hours to multi-generational community initiatives, also inspiring me to successfully launch active clubs at my school. Bringing that same entrepreneurial spirit outside of school, I blend my community leadership with a thriving creative small business. I operate a professional henna service, managing vendor tables at major markets and accepting custom bookings for private events. Ultimately, I am always ready to help, bring people together, and work toward sustainable change through my leadership and community connections.
Clean Shores, Green Roots
Clean Shores, Green Roots is an environmental initiative dedicated to protecting wildlife, reducing pollution, and restoring local shorelines and parks into healthier, greener spaces. Inspired by the growing threat of water contamination, resource misuse, and littering, this project unites youth and activists for a large-scale cleanup. By providing volunteer transportation, meals, and essential equipment, the project removes barriers to climate action, allowing participants to improve the environment for future generations while building meaningful community connections.

Clean Shores, Green Roots coordinates volunteer transport to a high-priotity shoreline and park. After receiving essential equipment and safety briefings, volunteers are assigned strategic teams for an effective cleanup. The day concludes with weighing collected waste, group reflections, and provided meals, ensuring a memorable experience centered on team-building and environmental stewardship.
