Rabia Muhammad

I'm Rabia, Founder and Principal Designer of Endose Studio, a Toronto-based architectural design consultancy specializing in commercial, hospitality, non-profit, and institutional spaces. My practice is rooted in emotional space design — creating environments that trigger focus, joy, belonging, and human connection through intentional use of light, materiality, circulation, and spatial programming.

Solid and Void: Designing spaces for belonging

Solid and Void: Designing Spaces for Belonging is a hands-on workshop that explores how the spaces we’re in every day impact how we feel, think, and connect. Through model making, participants learn about lighting, materials, sustainability, and third spaces in an accessible, practical way. Open to those without design backgrounds, the workshop creates space to slow down, reflect, and build environments that feel more intentional, supportive, and aligned with how we want to live.

À propos de ce projet

Communautés servies

Voici les objectifs de développement durable associés à mon projet

Les objectifs de développement durable de l’ONU

Il est possible de catégoriser les projets à impact communautaire selon les objectifs de développement durable de l’ONU. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      Le fonctionnement du projet

Participants join an 8-week workshop where they explore how space affects well-being through guided lessons and hands-on model making. Each session introduces concepts like lighting, materials, and third spaces, leading to a final model that reflects their own understanding of intentional, supportive environments.

      Résumé de l'impact

This project helps participants better understand how space impacts their mental health, creativity, and sense of belonging. By learning to design with intention, they gain confidence and agency over their environments. The impact extends beyond the workshop, influencing how participants shape their homes, workplaces, and communities in more thoughtful, supportive ways.

      Résumé de la mission

The mission of Solid and Void: Designing Spaces for Belonging is to make design more accessible while helping people understand how the spaces they inhabit affect their mental well-being and sense of connection. Through hands-on learning, the project empowers individuals to create environments that feel intentional, supportive, and rooted in both personal and community needs.
