Shaan sanghera

I am a passionate young community leader and climate activist dedicated to creating a greener, more sustainable future for my community. I believe that even small everyday actions can have a meaningful impact on reducing our collective carbon footprint, and I enjoy inspiring others to make environmentally conscious choices like biking instead of driving where possible I am passionate about promoting greenery by encouraging the creation of community and home gardens, planting more trees and plants to increase oxygen levels, improve air quality, and support local biodiversity. I believe that expanding green spaces is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change while creating healthier, more vibrant communities. In addition to promoting gardens and greenery, I actively encourage sustainable habits such as using reusable water bottles, reusable shopping bags, reusable utensils, and other environmentally friendly alternatives to single-use plastics. I enjoy educating others about global warming, climate change, and practical ways they can reduce their environmental impact in their daily lives. My goal is to empower individuals to become environmental like me as 1 million starts with 1 and I can be the 1 person to start a change

Green Gardens is a project that will help members of the community reduce their carbon footprint print, learn methods to do so including gardening be able to start their own garden and learning facts on being more green

      My project will start as soon as funding is granted in which members of the community can learn how to start a vegetable garden, plant flowers, what actions they can take to reduce their carbon footprint print like community clean ups and being quizzed on being a more green and ecofriendly citizen

      My project will have an everlasting impact by teaching people of the community life long skills on how to be more ecofriendly in their day to day life this will impact the wild life in the community, ecological foot prints and the entire environment as a whole positive
