Shaheer Ali

I am a young community leader dedicated to advancing Financial literacy and empowering underserved communities. Through my volunteer work in the community with multiple events and as the Co-Founder of Women’s Education Matters, I design initiatives that address systemic barriers faced by women, particularly in education and healthcare. My leadership is grounded in empathy, lived experience, and a commitment to amplifying voices that are often overlooked. I strive to bridge research, policy, and community action to build more inclusive and equitable systems.

Community Coins

Community Coins is a financial literacy initiative aimed at empowering underserved communities, including youth, adults, and newcomer immigrants. The project creates a safe, accessible space to learn essential skills such as budgeting, saving, investing, and recognizing financial scams. By addressing common barriers and risks, particularly for newcomers who may be more vulnerable to fraud, Community Coins fosters confidence, independence, and informed financial decision-making within the community.
