Syani Awah Check
I am a creative based in Montréal, originally from Cameroon, with a deep passion for music and creative expression. As a community leader and female artist, my lived experience navigating gender bias, limited access, and the lack of visibility for women’s work in the music industry inspires my work. Through Check Her Sound, I use my experiences to create safe, accessible, and free creative spaces for emerging female artists. By bringing together community, creativity, and collaboration, I aim to empower women artists, amplify their voices, and create meaningful social impact.I am a creative based in Montreal originally from Cameroon.
