Trevaun Douglas
Trevaun Douglas has been a youth leader since the age of 11, dedicating over a decade to community-building and youth empowerment. He is the founder of Mind on Strength, a grassroots organization that provides mental health workshops, fitness programs, and experiential learning opportunities to youth in underserved communities. His leadership blends physical endurance with purpose, proving that consistency and community can transform lives. Trevaun continues to mentor, coach, and advocate for youth who, like him, are ready to rise.
Steps For Change
Steps for Change is a community walk raising $250,000 to fund life-saving skill programming for youth ages 8–24 in Lawrence Heights. Proceeds will support swimming lessons, self-defence training, auto mechanics, nutrition education, financial literacy, creative arts, entrepreneurship, and scholarships. By building practical, real-world skills, the initiative empowers young people to stay safe, grow confident, and unlock opportunities for their future. Every step taken helps invest directly in the next generation of Lawrence Heights.
