Yonis Abdulkadir hassan

I am a young community leader committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for youth and families in my community. Through my work, I have helped organize programs that focus on connection, mentorship, wellness, and opportunity, especially for young people in underserved neighborhoods. I care deeply about giving back, building strong relationships, and creating initiatives that make a real difference. My goal is to continue leading with purpose, inspiring others, and helping my community grow stronger together.

Leadership through sports

8-week basketball and mentorship program for youth ages 15–25 in the Toronto/GTA. Each week combines skill-building, structured runs, and guidance focused on confidence, discipline, and leadership. The program features 8 guest speakers who share real-life lessons and motivation, helping participants grow on and off the court. Mentorship creates a safe, positive space where youth build community, mindset, and momentum.
