Ziyang Li

Ziyang Zeo Li is a passionate community leader, social innovator, and student at the University of Regina. He serves as the Executive Director of The Carillon and President of the United Nations Association in Canada – Regina Branch. As a first-generation immigrant, Ziyang is committed to building inclusive communities by uplifting newcomer youth and creating equitable opportunities through mentorship, advocacy, and storytelling. He is the founder of Includify, a nonprofit initiative focused on empowering immigrant youth and supporting inclusive workplaces. With a deep belief in collective change, Ziyang leads with empathy, collaboration, and vision to create spaces where everyone can thrive.

Includify

Includify is a youth-led initiative that empowers first-generation immigrant youth and builds inclusive workplaces through mentorship and cultural awareness training. The project connects newcomer youth with mentors, equips employers with diversity education, and fosters intercultural understanding. Through workshops, resource toolkits, and community events, Includify creates opportunities for youth to thrive professionally while supporting employers in creating more welcoming environments for all.

      Includify runs from August to February and includes mentorship programs, cultural awareness workshops, and resource toolkit development. Youth are matched with mentors, participate in training sessions, and attend networking events. Employers receive inclusive workplace training to enhance intercultural understanding and support for first-generation immigrant youth.

Our goal is to create inclusive workplaces by equipping employers with tools for equity and diversity, while empowering youth with confidence, networks, and resources to thrive in their professional journeys.
