Lynn Choi

Lynn is the CEO and co-founder of Wings Society, a dedicated non-profit organization that focuses on providing essential care packages to the homeless, addressing health and oral care needs. With a strong commitment to social justice and community service, Wings Society has previously garnered support from government grants and has established partnerships with several other organizations to amplify its impact. Under Lynn’s leadership, the organization is actively expanding its outreach efforts, working to reach more communities across Canada. Wings Society is dedicated to providing essential health and oral care items to those in need, aiming to improve their quality of life and offer meaningful support. Through strategic collaborations and a clear vision for growth, Lynn and her women-led team are making a significant impact in the communities they serve.

The Angel Project

The Angel Project is an initiative by Wings Society dedicated to delivering essential care packages to the homeless across Canada. Over the past four years, the project has reached hundreds of individuals, addressing their important health and oral care needs. With a focus on improving quality of life, The Angel Project aims to continue providing impactful support through several partnerships and dedicated efforts, striving to make a meaningful difference in communities across Canada.

    When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

      The Angel Project involves assembling care packages with health and oral care essentials. Starting in September, the team will plan and procure supplies, then create and distribute the packages through local partnerships by November. This effort aims to support homeless communities across Canada.

With targeted support through local partnerships, the project aims to improve quality of life, address immediate needs, and offer meaningful assistance to those facing significant challenges.

      Project Mission

      The Angel Project’s mission, Ad liberandum, is to free those struggling by providing essential resources and support. Our goals are to promote healthier, more empowered lives for the homeless across Canada through targeted distribution of health and oral care items.

      Project Team

      Lynn oversees two teams, one in Hamilton and one in Vancouver, ensuring effective coordination and impact.
