How the project works

YDT paired highschool and undergraduate students in project-based teams to develop creative, sustainable digital solutions for nonprofits and small businesses at minimum costs while getting valuable project experiences to launch their career. YDT built a mentor community which guided students in their work through hands-on workshops, and resources support.

Project Impact

Youth Digital Talent has empowered 177 high school students with digital skills learning through hands-on mentoring on client projects, industrial business office tours, guest speakers, virtual meetups, and webinars. YDT project teams have delivered 3 creative digital solutions with great social and economic impact. Currently, Youth Digital Talent is working with the GLOCAL Foundation of Canada with UI/UX design volunteer work.
