Eligibility & Participation Requirements

The eligibility and participation requirements for the Sprout Ideas Fellowship were as follows:

• Fellows were between the ages of 15 and 30 at the time of applying.
• Fellows received a Canada Service Corps microgrant between 2018 and 2022.
• Projects focused on and directly benefited local communities in Canada.
• Fellows committed an average of 3-5 hours per week to Fellowship activities and project implementation throughout the cohort.
• Fellows attended a live 60-minute program orientation at the start of the cohort.
• Fellows participated in twelve live virtual 60-minute tutorials, offered in English and French.
• Fellows attended a deep listening and facilitation training and monthly peer learning circles throughout the program.
• Fellows submitted a final budget and completed a fundraising page to be eligible to receive a $500 seed grant.
• Fellows independently fundraised up to $4,500 for their projects.
• Fellows prepared a final report and completed a feedback survey.
