Axlaam Muuse

I am a passionate community leader and psychology undergraduate student with a strong interest in sustainability, education, and community engagement. I am particularly passionate about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, as I believe access to meaningful and engaging learning opportunities can empower individuals and strengthen communities. Through volunteering, student leadership, and community involvement, I have developed a passion for creating spaces where people can learn, connect, and explore new ideas. I hope to continue using my experiences and leadership skills to support sustainable development and help create positive change in my community.

Pathways to Possibility

Pathways to Possibility is a youth-focused initiative that creates hands-on, engaging learning experiences for students in Grades 4–9. Through interactive workshops and connections with undergraduate students, participants can explore different fields of study, ask questions, and discover future educational possibilities. The project aims to support SDG 4: Quality Education by making learning accessible, inspiring curiosity, and helping young people build confidence in their future pathways.

    When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

      6 diffrent wprkshops inspired by diffrent undergrad programs such as psycholgy biology business envirlmental science nursing engineering etc

      Project Impact

      Pathways to Possibility will help youth discover new interests, build confidence, and see education as an accessible pathway to their future. By introducing students to diverse undergraduate programs through hands-on experiences, the project will encourage curiosity, broaden their understanding of career possibilities, and promote SDG 4: Quality Education through inclusive and engaging learning opportunities.

      Pathways to Possibility’s mission is to inspire youth through accessible, hands-on education and help them envision diverse possibilities for their future.       Undergraduate students lead discipline-based workshops, while high school volunteers gain leadership, community, and educational experience.
