Research ReImagined is a program developed to address two interconnected challenges: the growing difficulty students face in translating academic experience into employable skills, and the urgent need to make sustainability knowledge more accessible to the public.

About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

Research ReImagined helps students make their sustainability research accessible to the public. Through workshops, mentorship, and creative poster design, 10 selected participants learn to translate complex academic work into plain language, presenting their findings at a community symposium to build transferable skills and drive real-world climate action.

      Project Impact

Research ReImagined transforms academic work into real-world action by making sustainability research accessible to diverse audiences. The program equips student researchers with public speaking skills, confidence, and career-ready experience. By breaking down complex jargon, it sparks community curiosity, boosts public climate literacy, and connects emerging youth leaders with professional networks to drive lasting environmental change.

      Project Mission

Research ReImagined empowers student leaders to bridge the gap between academia and the public by translating complex sustainability research into accessible community knowledge, building essential communication skills, and connecting youth researchers with broader networks to drive real-world climate action.
