Hello, I’m trying to create impact in the stem world. I’ve been learning about FDM printing and also the basics to CNC printing for over a year. I’m not using this for opportunity to create impact for the youth.

3D Kids

3D Kids will allow young youth to learn about the basics to 3D designing and 3D printing. 3D kids will provide workshop and use CAD softwares like Thinkercad to teach students.

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

    When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

      In September and October, I’ll begin developing a 6 hour course, consisting of information and activities. In early October I’ll ask local libraries to post a poster advertising the event. People who are interest can scan a QR code giving access to the application. By November the event should be hosted.

      Project Impact

      This project aim to impact youth from low income families using the application form we will select individuals who are from low income and minority groups. These groups will be given education in the Computer Aided Design and also FDM printing.

      Project Mission

      The mission of this project is to create opportunities for young individuals to learn about CAD and FDM printing early to draw a pathway to the engineering space early in their career.
