I am passionate about education and giving back to my community. I want to see all young people benefit from our resource to help them graduate.

Graph Legend - Helping youth to graduate.

My project is called Graph Legend - Helping Youth to Graduate. What motivated me to start this project is that when looking at the statistics on graduation rates, I understood that something needed to be done to help support youth and I wished to give back. We supported youth through academic skill development workshops. and the creation of resources.

How the project works

We held workshops both online and in-person to provide the resources and skill development needed to encourage young people to stay in school. Additionally, we partnered with non-profit organizations and educational institutions to provide our program to their students and youth.

Project Impact

We worked with and engaged 25 non-profit professionals and 5 teachers through our workshops to help provide them with tools to better engage their students and youth. We held 3 iterations of our main workshop titled: "Skills for Students to Have". We had the opportunity to support and visit a First Nations community, and build meaningful relationships. We also got to experience a local high school graduation ceremony at a school we worked with.

Project Mission

To give youth a chance to graduate with dignity and contribute meaningfully.

Project Team

Our team is young and bright, and we want young people to succeed.
