How the project works
SRHR Map engaged the community by hosting consultations, meetings, and focus groups, as well as undertaking community outreach. SRHR Map designed, developed, and tested the digital resources, and monitored evaluation processes.
Project Impact
SRHR Map changes the landscape of current directories by allowing community members to tailor searches to their unique needs and provides the comprehensive information community members need to decide whether or not a service meets their needs. We bring everything sexual and reproductive health into one place, from sexual health clinics, and abortion providers, to doulas, and domestic violence shelters.1,026 individuals used our website to help find SRHR resources in their community.
Project Mission
Our mission is to increase access to information surrounding sexual and reproductive health and rights services in Canada. We aim to promote agency and dignity, as well as awareness of and uptake of services, and de-stigmatize and simplify the process of realizing sexual and reproductive rights, especially for equity-seeking communities who face added barriers to accessing appropriate and affirming care.
Project Team
The team brings together youth from different backgrounds and lived experiences to create change.
