Glimmer of Events
Glimmer of Events is a monthly themed community initiative created to bring youth/young adults in South Etobicoke together to connect, inspire, and educate one another about the importance of sustainability. Through engaging and interactive events, Glimmer of Events promotes small, practical lifestyle changes that help create a more sustainable community and encourage positive environmental impact.

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
From September to December Glimmer of Events will be hosting one monthly themed event each month. September being back to school, October Thrifting/DIY Halloween, November will be community choice and December gifts and wrapping.
Project Impact
Creates positive environmental and social impact by bring youth/young adults together. This encourages more accessible living, encourages small everyday changes, which inspires leaders in creating a greener community.

To educate and empower the community to adopt small everyday sustainable actions, build meaningful connections, and support positive impact. Through creative experience , subject mater expertise knowledge, and community awareness.
