
Sarah Roberts
Halifax, NSA global learner, Sarah has made her mark organizing and managing worldwide events for young Changemakers, like being the Program Manager for Camp 2030. Along with being a performing musician, Sarah also makes grassroots change with her non profit organization, New Venture, which makes entrepreneurship a more accessible and equitable place for all.

New Venture is a youth-led, volunteer-run non- profit located in K'jipuktuk (Halifax). We values Accessibility, Equity, and Community - and we live out these values through programming, support and community connection.

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
The New Venture Marketplace and Workshops will be a 6 week program where new entrepreneurs learn skills, build community and practice what they have learned at a market.

Project Impact
Our project will impact 40 new entrepreneurs and teach them basic skills for entering the entrepreneurial landscape.
Project Mission
Our mission is to make entrepreneurship an accessible and equitable opportunity for everyone within our communities.
