About this Project

Communities Served

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

Over a four-month program, participants develop real-world skills, work on collaborative projects, and showcase their talents at our culminating art show. This initiative not only builds technical abilities but also fosters confidence and opens doors to future opportunities in creative industries, all while strengthening community bonds.

      Project Impact

The purpose of the Youth Design Hub is to bridge the gap for disadvantaged youth by providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to explore and develop their creative talents. We aim to offer a safe and supportive space where these young people can learn new skills, express themselves, and gain valuable experience that can lead to future opportunities in creative industries.

      Project Mission

Ultimately, our purpose is to empower these youth to reach their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.

      Project Team

The team is comprised of creatives from all of Ottawa looking to give back to the community.
