About this Project
Communities Served
My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.
How the project works
Over the project period, the team will identify 10 compelling stories, connect with featured community members, conduct interviews, and produce short-form video features. The completed stories will be shared across digital platforms to engage audiences, celebrate Black voices, and inspire meaningful conversations across generations.
Project Impact
The project will produce 10 stories highlighting the experiences, contributions, and aspirations of Black community members. By sharing these stories with wider audiences, it will increase representation, celebrate local leadership, inspire emerging youth, strengthen community connections, and create a lasting record of Black excellence and resilience.
Project Mission
Black Stories, Black Futures amplifies Black voices by documenting and sharing the stories of community leaders, emerging youth, creatives, and changemakers. Through visual storytelling, the project celebrates Black experiences, preserves community knowledge, connects generations, challenges stereotypes, and inspires future leaders.
