TheShafiiPen for Research and Edcuation

The Shafii Pen for Research and Education is an Islamic research and education institute dedicated to cultivating knowledge, developing youth, and strengthening communities. Founded in 2021, the institute provides structured educational programs, mentorship, curriculum development, and accessible learning opportunities for Muslim youth and families, alongside research rooted in the Islamic scholarly tradition. Through education, scholarship, and community-based initiatives, The Shafii Pen seeks to nurture confident, knowledgeable young Muslims and contribute to the long-term development of thriving Muslim communities.

My project will involve and/or impact the following communities:

    United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

    When it comes to community impact projects, the UN has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These are the Sustainable Development Goals associated with my project.

      How the project works

      The Shafii Pen delivers year-round educational programs combining interactive Islamic studies, Quran education, mentorship, and community initiatives. Youth participate in structured courses with small class sizes, assignments, discussions, and ongoing assessment. Alongside youth programming, the institute develops research, educational resources, and community programs designed to create lasting benefit.

      Project Impact

      Since 2021, The Shafii Pen has provided Islamic education to over 100 students, helping Muslim youth develop knowledge, confidence, character, and a strong Islamic identity. Through structured education, mentorship, research, and community engagement, the institute equips young Muslims to navigate contemporary challenges while nurturing a generation of knowledgeable, principled individuals prepared to positively contribute to their families and communities.

      The Shafii Pen’s mission is to cultivate knowledgeable, confident, and principled Muslim youth while strengthening the communities around them. Through accessible Islamic education, mentorship, research, and community development, the institute aims to connect authentic Islamic scholarship with contemporary needs, nurture future leaders and contributors, and build sustainable educational initiatives that benefit Muslim families and communities for generations.
